Wildcat game @ McClellan
Lanie and Lucy spent a good part of the game at the rail watching cheerleaders and looking for Uncle Bo and DanMan. In this picture, their heads were on swivels as they scoured the scene looking for their men on the field.
Not sure which one she spotted but, obviously, Lanie has had success!
These two, and Kate, got a lot of exercise "running the bleachers". We took a lot of fans to Little Rock but the stands were not as crammed as they are when the Cats play at home. Before Hattie decided she was bored by the whole thing and would rather sleep, she spent some time entertaining Hannah and her friends up at the top of the stadium. I am hoping someone has a picture of that I can post later. I love how my grandchildren love their cousins!
The Wildcats continued their winning ways and we left the stadium happy!

DanMan
DanMan is a very loyal Colts fan and he is especially impressed with Peyton Manning.
Here he is preparing to cheer his team to victory. It worked too; I cannot remember who the opponent was but the Colts won!
I think he'll have to have new gear for next season; that boy is really growing!
The first weekend DanMan did not have baseball to occupy him, he was kind of at a loss. He volunteered to wash Papa's four-wheeler and the pick-up truck. Tom was unaware that these chores were being done for him and Daniel was very pleased with his grandfather's excited reaction. I told him that I ought to take his picture with the clean truck. A little later, he came into the family room and asked if I was going to take that picture. When I had hunted up my camera, I went out to find him posing like this. I guess he remembered the recent picture of Hannah with her learner's permit. He decided his Aunt Jenny would say, "... but he CAN'T be 16 ALREADY!!!!"

The latest in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
We had a busy, wonderful weekend in Little Rock and I will be posting more pictures and descriptions soon. One of the major highlights was spotting this book on Jill's dining table! (Please don't ask me what FAAP means.) She and Stephen went to Tunica Saturday through Sunday; I'm not sure she even knows I took these photos to share with my world!

Precious flower girl!
Kate was a flower girl in one of her teacher's wedding on the Saturday night of the big ball game I wrote about in my last entry. Jillers took lots of great pictures and posted them to Shutterfly. It used to be that I could copy photos from Shutterfly and use them as I wished; not now. I asked Jill to please send some of her favorites directly to me so I could post them in this blog. She did but they arrived via Picasa and I am not smart enough to be able to save them to "My Pictures" from there either. Picasa did give me the option of blogging the pictures but each one opens individually and so is sent to the blog individually. This picture of the flower girl dancing with her wonderful father is special to me - so I blogged it first - and now it will be in the bottom entry of pictures from the occasion! Oh, well! At least, I can share it so I shouldn't whine, should I?

Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh!!!!

Just looking at this picture of the scoreboard (Thank you, Michele) does not give you any idea of the excitement and frustration surrounding this game! I am so proud of the EHS WILDCATS!!!! I am wondering if Tom will be able to talk today. He had about used up his voice advising the refs and then came the last play of the game!!!!!!! We were tied 21-21; Texarkana had the ball with three seconds left and they were preparing to kick a thirty-eight yard field goal for the win. EHS blocked the kick and DeAndre Williams (one of my Hugh Goodwin babies) scooped it up and ran seventy-two yards for a touchdown!!!! (You will notice in the picture that we only won by six because no attempt was made to kick the extra point.) I always have great respect (also dread and terror) for Texarkana's teams; it was against the Razorbacks that Jimmy ruined his shoulder in a goal-line stand.
