Well, I finally figured out how to upload this picture of my daddy, Col. E. A. Jurkens, a true World War II hero, posing with the Enola Gay, the B-29 superfortress that dropped the first atomic bomb ever used in combat on Hiroshima, Japan, August 6, 1945. Daddy was a pilot in the Pacific and, while he never talks about it, others have made it obvious that he made important contributions to the eventual Allied victory.
